On 14 April 1912 Caronia sent the first ice warning at 09:00 to RMS Titanic reporting "bergs, growlers and field ice".

Salter Street

The Sarner family moved to 367 Salter Street where they lived for many years. Three children, Evelyn, Rona, Berte were born there and additional family from Russia often stayed with them. This in a house with one bathroom. The pictures show how the house looks today.
